The cooperation plan highlights the firm commitment of both parties to jointly develop new refrigeration, power supply and distribution, building management and control systems, aiming to provide comprehensive infrastructure support for artificial intelligence data centers
This collaboration will provide solid support for the development vision of AI infrastructure in Europe and is highly consistent with the European Commission’s “Continental Action Plan for Artificial Intelligence” and the “InvestAI” initiative
Schneider Electric announced the launch of a brand-new rack solution compatible with NVIDIA technology
Beijing, China, June 12, 2025 – Today, Schneider Electric, a global leader in industrial technology, announced a deepened partnership with NVIDIA to meet the growing market demand for sustainable, AI-ready infrastructure. Both sides will jointly promote innovative research and development in areas such as power supply and distribution, refrigeration, control, and high-density rack systems, and contribute to the construction and development of the next-generation “AI factories” in Europe and even globally.
The global partnership announced at NVIDIA’s GTC Paris Conference brings together leading global enterprises in sustainable development and accelerated computing, aiming to fully support the EU’s AI infrastructure vision and its “InvestAI” initiative, which aims to promote large-scale investment to accelerate the development and application of AI technology.
With their profound accumulation and practice in AI-ready infrastructure, sustainable development and grid coordination, Schneider Electric and NVIDIA have joined hands to actively respond to the “Artificial Intelligence Continental Action Plan” released by the European Commission. This plan clearly states that at least 13 “AI factories” will be established in Europe and plans to build 5 “AI super Factories”.
Olivier Blum, the CEO of Schneider Electric, said: “The cooperation between Schneider Electric and NVIDIA is far more than a traditional partnership. We are working together to advance cutting-edge research and development and jointly build the infrastructure needed for the world’s next-generation ‘AI factory’.” In the field of deploying next-generation power distribution and liquid cooling solutions for AI data centers, we have already achieved remarkable results. This strategic partnership brings together global leading enterprises in sustainable development and accelerated computing, and will further help us accelerate our development and jointly break through the boundaries of future AI workloads.
“AI is the most iconic technology of our time and the most transformative force reshaping the world.” ” Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, pointed out, “We are collaborating with Schneider Electric to build an AI factory, providing crucial AI infrastructure for various industries and even the entire society.”
A brand-new infrastructure solution adapted to NVIDIA technology
To support the cooperation plan announced by both sides, Schneider Electric has launched a series of new AI-ready data center solutions including EcoStruxureTM Pod and rack solutions. Among them, the prefabricated modular EcoStruxure Pod data center solution is specifically designed to accelerate the global development of AI. By adopting an extensible Pod infrastructure, it facilitates the rapid deployment of AI data centers.
As part of this plan, Schneider Electric has also launched a brand-new rack system certified by OCP Inspired, supporting the GB200 NVL72 platform designed with the modular architecture of NVIDIA MGX, thus achieving ecosystem integration with NVIDIA HGX and MGX for the first time.
Earlier this year, Schneider Electric and ETAP adopted NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint to release the world’s first digital twin system for electrical and large-scale power systems for “AI factories”. On this basis, the two sides jointly released a series of landmark news.
As a CDU supplier certified by NVIDIA, Schneider Electric has jointly developed a series of reference designs based on electrification and liquid cooling with NVIDIA, integrating the leading solutions in the Motivair liquid cooling product portfolio. Since Schneider Electric completed the acquisition of Motivair in March 2025, Its technical strength in the field of data center cooling has been significantly enhanced.
Through the continuous expansion and deepening of the strategic partnership between the two sides, Schneider Electric and NVIDIA will continue to accelerate infrastructure construction, speed up the implementation of new products and reference designs, and lay a solid foundation for building future “AI factories”.
