PSENsgate: The “Pioneer” of Security Door Systems Integrating Two Functions
When it comes to integrating safety protection locking and corresponding control components, PSENsgate cannot be overlooked. As a multi-functional large-scale security door system, PSENsgate integrates a variety of rich functions such as emergency stop buttons, lock buttons, unlock buttons, custom switches, and escape release. On the basis of monitoring the status of security doors, it provides users with more operation methods.
Why is it said to be large? Compared with traditional security door systems, the size of PSENsgate is indeed a bit prominent (200*108*465mm), but this does not detract from its excellence. If installation space permits, PSENsgate is definitely one of the best solutions for on-site security door protection and can meet the needs of the vast majority of industrial on-site security door lock applications. However, many application functions of the PSENsgate security door system are pre-set, and users need to operate according to the design requirements of the system. There is a slight deficiency in the freedom of configuration.
PSENmgate New Product Launch: The Long Version is more comprehensive
The new security door system, PSENmgate, can be regarded as the “successor” of PSENsgate. It not only inherits the rich functions, excellent quality and comprehensive safety level certification of PSENsgate, but also upgrades the free configuration function of buttons. The trigger status of the button and the indicator light of the button can both be collected and controlled according to the user’s needs. The rich lock tongue accessories provide users with more choices in different applications.
The currently available Version (Short Version) of PSENmgate measures 40*65*238mm, which is 43% smaller than PSENsgate. The switch body comes with 2 buttons, and an optional emergency stop button is available. In August 2025, the new Version (Long Version) of PSENmgate will be launched. As the name suggests, the new version will be slightly larger than the short version, with a volume of 40*94*327mm. Compared with PSENsgate, it is still much smaller. The number of built-in buttons on the switch body reaches 4. Friends no longer need to worry about not being able to squeeze the buttons on the control panel.
With the launch of the new version, users have gained greater flexibility. Not only are all buttons, indicator lights and contact logic 100% configurable, but they are no longer bound by fixed processes. The series connection function is like adding wings to a tiger. It not only significantly reduces the wiring workload but also decreases the number of on-site I/ OS, which can be described as perfect.
The perfect debut of PSENmgate marks the entry of the security door system into an era of “small but beautiful”, and the withdrawal of PSENsgate is also in the countdown. According to the production plan of the PILZ Group, PSENsgate will cease production next year (June 2026).
