The ABB EF45-45 is a self-supplied electronic overload relay designed for reliable and fast protection of motors against overload and phase failure. It eliminates the need for an external power supply. It is user-friendly, similar to thermal overload relays, and suitable for standard motor applications. Key features include a wide current setting range, high accuracy, a broad operational temperature range, and selectable trip classes (10E, 20E, 30E). Additional features include temperature compensation, a trip contact (NC), a signal contact (NO), selectable automatic or manual reset, a trip-free mechanism, STOP and Test functions, and trip indication. These overload relays can be directly mounted onto contactors. Single mounting kits are available as accessories. The EF19 and EF45 series hold ATEX and IECEx certifications.
