The RCM420-D-2 is part of the LINETRAXX® series. It measures residual currents using an external measuring current transformer (CT). It features a digital display for real-time current monitoring and two separately adjustable response values (pre-alarm and main alarm).

• System Type: This device is designed for grounded systems (TN/TT) only. It cannot be used in ungrounded (IT) systems.

• CT Selection: All current-carrying conductors (including the neutral $N$ conductor, but not the PE) must pass through the measuring current transformer.

• Wiring Integrity: Ensure the connection between the RCM and the CT is secure and follows the specified cable length limits to avoid measurement errors.

• Testing: Use the built-in “Test” button regularly to ensure the internal circuitry and output relays are functioning correctly.
