Product Details

The S800-AUX/ALT combines two distinct functions: an auxiliary contact (AUX) and an alarm/signal contact (ALT).

• AUX Auxiliary Contact: This contact switches simultaneously with the main contacts of the MCB. It detects various tripping conditions and operational states, including:
  • Manual switching (on/off)
  • Tripping due to thermal overload
  • Tripping due to magnetic overload (short-circuit)
  • Tripping initiated by S800-SOR (shunt open release) or S800-UVR (undervoltage release)
• ALT Signal Contact: This contact specifically signals fault-related tripping of the MCB. It detects:
  • Tripping due to thermal overload
  • Tripping due to magnetic overload (short-circuit)
  • Tripping initiated by S800-SOR or S800-UVR

The S800-AUX/ALT also features a test button that allows simulation of the contact’s function without tripping the MCB, and a reset button for the ALT signal contact after a fault trip.
